1. Who runs this service

MyBookSpines.com is operated by C. Frid Aktiebolag (organisation number 559411-8555), with its registered office in Sweden at Byggmästargränd 8, 795 35 Rättvik.

2. How we use your content

• What you upload and write on the platform (books, shelves, library descriptions, comments, and similar) may be used by MyBookSpines.com to build searchable databases and to show content to other users.
• Private messages between users are not used in this way.
• Content placed in the spam folder may be analysed to keep the service safe and secure for everyone.

3. Deleting your content and account

You can remove your content from the site at any time by using Delete account on your user page. We will delete your data as requested. We only keep what we are legally required to keep under Swedish law (for example certain accounting or legal obligations). Nothing else is retained.

4. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. Changes take effect when we publish them on the site. If we make important changes, we will aim to inform you (for example by a notice on the site or by email where appropriate). Continued use of the service after changes means you accept the updated terms.

5. Your responsibility

You are responsible for complying with the laws that apply to you in your country. Do not use the service in any way that breaks those laws or the rights of others (including copyright and other intellectual property, privacy, and acceptable use).
